Newlands Training has an excellent record of First Aid training and delivery of quality courses to Clients who have been with us for many years and of course some nice new ones. We would like to re-assure our Clients that this will continue as we are working with The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) to ensure that our quality is maintained.
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) have announced that with effect from the 1st October 2013, they will no longer be responsible for the monitoring and approvals of providers of the First Aid at Work (FAAW) and the Emergency First Aid at work (EFAW) qualifications.
From the 1st October 2013 the responsibility to ensure the compliance of Quality Assurance when selecting a suitable Organisation to deliver training in First Aid to your staff is yours.
The First Aid Industry Body, the trade body available to all First Aid training Organisations, are able to confirm that their members are continuing to comply with the high quality assurance as previously required by the HSE as part of their approval status.
A key part of being a member of FAIB is that the organisation undertakes to maintain a high standard in all aspects of their business and agrees to be subject to independent monitoring and evaluation on a regular basis. As a direct result of this FAIB will issue that Organisation with certificated proof that they are both a member and have achieved the standard required, this will enable you the employer to prove that you in turn have complied with the requirements placed upon you by the HSE.
Welcome to our First Aid courses underwritten by the First Aid Industry Body
