With the current concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19) we wanted to let you know the measures that Newlands Training is taking to minimise the risk to our customers.

Delegates Attending Training

If you experience cough/fever/shortness of breath even if symptoms are mild, STAY INDOORS & call NHS 111.   PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE COURSE.  Let us know.

To reduce the risk of infection, anyone attending courses should follow the general public health advice…

  • avoid close contact (touching or shaking hands).   please stay at least 2 meters away from other people
  • wash hands often with soap and water; if that is not possible, use hand sanitizer
  • cover mouth and nose with a tissue or the crook of your arm if you sneeze or cough
  • avoid touching your mouth, nose, and eyes
  • if you feel you need to wear a personal face mask, please bring something appropriate with you.  This will be your personal choice and not compulsory to attend the course.

Newlands Training Staff and Instructors

All our staff and instructors will be following the above advice. In the event that they need to self-isolate this could lead to cancellation of courses at short notice, although we will do our best to avoid this.  It may become necessary to cancel courses at short notice for a variety of reasons. Should this be necessary we hope our customers will be understanding.

Numbers attending our courses are reduced and new arrangements are in place for travel during a course and for use of equipment.   Please work with our Trainers to help ensure everyone’s health at this time.

Thank you for understanding and for joining our courses.  See you soon.
